Sasha Lazard is a classically trained soprano, singer, and composer whose work bridges music, film, and live performance. Internationally recognized for her luminous, expressive voice, she has built a distinctive career blending classical, operatic roots with contemporary, genre-fluid production.

 

Her recordings-spanning releases on EMI and Blue Note, including The Myth of Red and Siren, have appeared on Billboard charts, while her music has been featured across film and television, including Princess Mononoke, Holy Smoke, Cowboys and Angels, and The Lodger. She co-produced the score and soundtrack for Blind (starring Alec Baldwin and Demi Moore), featuring a duet with Robert Redford. Her song “Angeli” was prominently featured in a global Victoria’s Secret campaign.

 

A sought-after live performer, Lazard has collaborated with leading luxury and cultural institutions, including Bulgari, Louis Vuitton, Carolina Herrera, Max Mara, and Maserati. She inaugurated the performance space at The Top of The Standard in New York and has performed at major cultural and philanthropic events for organizations such as the Whitney Museum, the New York Public Library, and the American Museum of Natural History, where she headlined the opening of the Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation.

 

Her recent work continues to evolve through intimate, collaborative performances and cross-disciplinary projects, including an ongoing concert series at the historic Castle Rock and annual appearances at the Rhythm and Roots Festival in Tennessee.
